TRAL SHUTS ON SECOND STRAIGHT DAY TO MOURN TERRORIST KILLINGS
Srinagar: A complete shutdown is being observed for the second consecutive day on Wednesday in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the killing of two terrorists in an encounter with the security forces yesterday.
All the shops and business establishments remained closed in the area while public transport was off the roads.
Two Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists, Irfan Ahmad Rather alias Abu Talib from Sharifabad locality and Adfar Fayaz alias Abu Zarar of Gulshapora village of Tral, were killed in the encounter.
People from different areas continued to visit the houses of the slain terrorists and offered prayers for them.
A two-storey residential house was completely destroyed during the encounter while a civilian was also injured.
